Minted…Where The Art is! {Review}

We have hit a milestone in our house…no more crib in our house.  We decided to put both girls in Sophie’s room & make Ava’s room into a playroom/office/craft room.  Before Sophie was born, I painted the walls a dark grey & the accents were bright pink, green & white.  Girly, pretty, but not too babyish.  Fast forward 2 years & we need to add some more decorations or redecorate.  The color scheme will remain the same.

We bought a white loft bed for Ava to sleep in & we used an existing twin bed as the bottom bunk for Sophie.  The bed has storage drawers, which I think I will stencil the word of the items that will go in there.  There are also shelves that I bought pink & green storage bins for.  The closet doors are white, they have pink & green stickers of birds & outlines of flowers.  The walls have matching but bigger stickers in white.

The only thing we don’t have is wall art.  Because the furniture in the room has changed, there is more open wall space.  That is where Minted comes in!  I was asked do do a review on Minted at the perfect time, redecorating time!  I wanted some wall art that would grow with the girls…something with bright colors matching the color scheme of the room, pretty, girly & youthful but not babyish.

Minted had all that & more!  I was able to search by color, style, shape & type.  The prints range in size from 5″x7″ to 44″x60″, they also range in price depending upon if the print was framed or unframed.  You can easily keep track of your favorites too!  When you pick a print, you can see a size reference & possible wall placement with other pieces of art.  The wall art prints are limited additions created by independent artists with 333 to choose from right now.

I think my favorite mix for the girls room is the Ring Toss along with the pink & green Tulip & Tracey prints!  The flower outline mimics the stickers that are already in the room & the curtains in the room are made with fabric that has different types of round shapes which is similar to the Ring Toss print.

Everything about Minted was easy!  Easy to filter your choices, easy to keep track of your favorites, easy to order & pay for your favorite print(s)!  There is only one HARD part….picking your FAVORITE print, so you should go with print(s) plural for sure!!

Which prints would you choose?!  Do you have empty wall space that needs to be filled?!  Check out Minted!!  When you do, let me know what you pick!!

      Thank you Kelly!! The girls love them too! Sophie climbs out, which has made nap & bed time harder…waiting for her to adjust!

      The Ring Toss print will match their room perfectly!

    These are lovely! I, too, love the ring toss. I’m also a tulip lover and the peach blossoms… ok, I love them all. I will pass this along to my kids, who are always looking for ideas for my 11 grandkids’ rooms and playrooms and also for MYSELF. I could stay at Minted all day… LOVE the Peony Bottle and Chicken Run. So vibrant and such fun! Thanks for sharing…

    Jessica, that is the same green in our color scheme too! “Big girl beds” are so much fun! Sophie, 2, is having some trouble staying in her bed…she would rather climb out! ;) I know it is a transition & she will adjust! Hope your daughter loves her “big girl bed”!
