Warm & Kozy with Kowalli {Review & Giveaway}

I first saw an ad for the Kowalli® (one size fits all at $69) while I was pregnant with Sophie, it was in the back of either a pregnancy or parenting magazine.  I was going to be delivering Sophie in February & thought this would be PERFECT for cold weather babywearing!  I was right, it is PERFECT!  It also happens to be a local Rhode Island company.  When I received my Kowalli there was a hand written note with it, thanking me for my order & stating that they love to send Kowallis to local Rhode Islanders!  Anywhere else of course too! ;)

The 1st time I wore my Kowalli, Sophie is about 2 months old!

The Kowalli® fits over any brand of baby carrier, sling, or wrap to keep you and baby cozy, warm and dry. Toga-style construction makes putting on and taking off so easy, just throw it on, secure, and go. Made with top-quality machine washable Polartec® fabric that makes cleanup a breeze. ~ From Kowalli

I’ve been using the Kowalli since Sophie was 2 months old & it has made cold weather baby wearing so much easier!  I can dress myself & Sophie in layers, then put the fleece cover right over us…so easy that Sophie will stay asleep while I’m putting the cover on or taking it off!  The Kowalli also works great as a blanket or an infant car seat cover…I’ve used it in a pinch when I need too!  Plus it is machine washable, which is a must for me…Sophie STILL spits up at times! ;)

The toggle on the bottom of my Kowalli broke, I could certainly still wear it but the wind was coming up from the bottom leaving Sophie’s feet a little cold.  I contacted Kowalli & Stefanie got back to me that day, she gave me the best customer service!  Being a local company Stefanie even met me to hand deliver my new one!  I’ve seriously never had such AWESOME customer service before!  Thank you Kowalli & Stefanie!!  I had a brand new Kowalli in hand & ready to wear within a few days!  Even better, I was talking to Stefanie & mentioned that I had a blog, she agreed to send me a hat to try & give one away to one lucky reader!

The KozyHat came in & I put it right on Sophie!  It is adorable & I love the fleece curly cue at the top!  It is also super warm & fits really well over her head without covering her eyes.  The hat is also machine washable, which is great for the inevitable drops in muddy snow! ;)  We got the KozyHat in the “Sweet”, which is charcoal with pink trim.  The hat comes in size 0-6 months & 6-12 months at $22.

Sophie loves her KozyHat & so do I!

KozyHats come in a playful array of colors, are hand-crafted, and designed to not ride forward on baby’s head. Made of top-quality machine-washable Polartec® fabric, cleanup is a breeze. ~ From Kowalli

The Polartec® fabric that is used for the Kowalli & KozyHat work well in rain, snow & wind…I know first hand as I’ve used both in all the different kinds of weather.  Kowalli also makes SnuggleBoots that are extra long to cover baby’s legs.  If you or someone you know will be babywearing, the Kowalli, KozyHat & SnuggleBoots are a MUST!  Good luck to all that enter to win a KozyHat!

    I don’t know yet as I’d LOVE to win this for my brother and SIL as they are expecting their first baby in July. While they won’t need the hat then, they certainly will a few months later as they live in Northern VT! I
    Do love the antipasto! Purple & Green. And the Kowalli would be the perfect baby gift for them since they are big hikers. Thanks for the idea :)

    I think Id have to go with the Sweet! It goes with most of Avery’s winter coats (I love ALL the color choices though!)

    Great pictures!! I love that you spend so much time outdoors with your little ones!

    I would love a Brooklyn! I so wish we had the money for a Kowalli right now. Seems perfect for keeping New Year’s weight loss resolutions with the fam! And for chilly trips into the store with baby.

      It is perfect for cold weather! Keep an eye on their FB page & sign up for the newsletter, the Kowallis do go on sale. They are worth the money if you can swing it, it is machine washable so you would get use out of it with more than one baby…I even use it as a blanket too!
